In a world of copy cats, Mojomama dares to be original with their ultra-cool fusion of Old School R&B and funk styles. Fronted by the amazing Jessica Rowand on lead vocals, and hard-driven bassist/composer, Paul Rogalski, this is definitely a band not to miss. Rounding out the explosive vibe is Bob Murnahan on guitar, and Steve Saviano banging away on the drums.
Working the Front Range of Colorado for what seems like eons, Mojomama has carved a big niche for their musical passions on many levels. The release of their latest album Alive and Kickin’ follows on the heels of one of their earlier passionate discs Think Feel Love Listen which garnered serious airplay and big thumbs up from industry pro’s.
When Mojomama isn’t hitting the stage and playing live, all band members are still doing what they do best – teaching and playing music at Mojo’s Music Academy owned by Rogalski and Rowand, nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Longmont, Colorado.
To add more fuel to this bonfire, The Academy also hosts the annual world renowned Rocky Mountain Bass Slam drawing on the talents of hot names in the world of bass players, and donating proceeds from the event to local charities.
