THE TRUBELOS Denver CO Blues Rock Country-Rock Folk
Frontman and composer Sandy Craig is no stranger to music lovers. From his earlier stint as The Smackers Craig’s 2007 debut release “Tear It Up” proves to have it all in terms of hot compositions that are catchy, cool, and simply part of our own unique experience.
This artist can sing– and flows with ease between flooding dance floors, to telling sad country tales, hits the sublime and ridiculous, and unleashes some kick-ass blues.
Just to show you how hot material never goes out of style, Stevie Gordon, Program Director for the world renowned Radio Seagull recently heard Sandy’s song “Sally” on Indie Music Wave and added it to the station’s rotation in the summer of 2015. Some things are worth the wait.
Blending country, rock, folk, and blues, The Trubelos are best described as an ‘American Music’ band, mixing original and cover songs that appeal to a wide range of audiences.
During the 2013 season, The Trubelos won the Country category of the Rocky Mountain Battle of the Bands, and opened for LeAnn Rimes at the Rocky Mountain Music Festival; performed at the Capitol Hill Denver Peoples Fair; headlined two nights at the Eagle County Fair & Rodeo; performed at the Music at Meyer’s Ranch Festival; and played regularly at many Denver clubs.
Their debut CD “Boomerang Girl” was released in 2013, and features 7 originals and 6 cover songs.
The Trubelos second full length album “Tumbleweed Road” was released in 2014 with 10 new songs. This band stays booked to the hilt with a variety of events and festivals throughout Colorado.
